“Albert Cashier” has its next major round of development. This Spring Albert traveled to NYC for an industry reading with Tony Winning Director Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening, American Idiot) and a stellar cast including Andrea Burns (In the Heights) Noah Galvin (Dear Evan Hansen) and Kyle Selig (Mean Girls).
“Cashier” has had an historic development since its inception in 2018 – hailed as “Musical Genius At Work” in Chicago, and in development with Christine Russell (Producer. Beautiful, the Carole King Musical).
Created by Jay Paul Deratany, Keaton Wooden, & trans singer-songwriter Coyote Joe Stevens, “Cashier” follows the astonishing true-story of a Civil War soldier whose life defied definition.
