Created and Directed by Keaton & Abby Tohline Wooden. Take Back is a punk rock anti rom-com, in the vein of “Bridesmaids” or "Thelma and Louise." Best friends Casey and Laura, haunted by their past failings in love and life, set off on a mission to reclaim everything they lost on their Take Back list.
In addition to the film - Take Back is accompanied by a non-fiction companion book, The Take Back Toolkit with Kasey Butcher, PhD. The book compiles research on psychology, sociology, and self-help to aid the process of reclaiming your life after major life losses - similar to "Queen Bees and Wannabees" for the feature Mean Girls.
